Why the name Studio Verite?
"Verite" in Studio Verite Photography is of French origin meaning "truth", "candid realism" and is phonetically pronounced "ve-ra-tay". I learned this great piece of knowledge from Justin in my first meeting with him as we were getting to know each other.

Words from Justin on Photography: 
As a photojournalist, I bring my passion for moment-driven candid photography to weddings. Gone are the stiff, contrived photos associated with traditional wedding photography.  I strive to make documentary pictures that are truthful, emotional and authentic. I want to have minimal interference with my subjects on their wedding day. I photograph unobtrusively in a way that lets the moments, emotion, happiness and joy flow without photographer interruption.

Accolades + Awards: 
Justin has received numerous professional awards for his documentary photography and wedding photojournalism, including nine international photography awards on behalf of the Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA).

He has also been featured in the pages of InStyle Weddings and Brides magazine.
