Featured Photography: David Newkirk

It's the first Friday in 2011, and the time just keeps flying by. And if you have kids, before you know it, they are all grown up! So if you have the time and money to spare this year, how about investing in a good photographer while they are still little. Usually, I showcase wedding photography, but I want to expand my range of acknowledgment of good photography out there beyond wedding as the only subject. There is sooo much more to life such as family and documenting those cherished moments.

Today's featured photographer is David Newkirk that resides in Utah. He is a wedding photographer along with many other photography skills under his belt — fashion, commercial and portrait to just list a few more. Basically, he's an all around talented photographer and visit his website to see his full range. In this post, I have decided to highlight his portraiture of a family and these are photos that I just fell in love with. You can see the warmth, the joy of life in the kids and parents come through in each of these shots. Awesome black & white photos and such vibrant color! Kudos to David for his dedication in photography.
