Pendant Lights for the Bar

Light fixtures are one of the key details that people notice when they walk into any home. Here are a few areas that one should pay attention to – the foyer/entry way, the dining room, breakfast table and the bar. When you are able to customize your light fixtures, choose them wisely. It will make a good statement about your home.

For my friend's home renovation project, I am searching for pendant lights that will hang over the bar area in a linear fashion. These are a few that I have come across that fit my criteria. A simple, but sleek cylindrical pendant that has fine, industrial-like details.

Don't Be Afraid...

It's been a looong while since I have posted. I have been busy working on baby shower invites and my own personal projects. However, this blog is constantly on my mind to bring you all fun ideas. Over these next few days, I am going to try and make it up with a lot of posts. :)

This particular post is dedicated to break some fears as one decorates their home. A common fear amongst individuals as they decorate are bold colors and patterns. Here are good clear examples that it looks good and it works!

Don't be afraid of large, repeating patterns.

Don't be afraid of dark colors.

Don't be afraid of multiple bold colors. Shades of white can help balance everything.

Who said bold patterns were just meant for drapes or your clothes... apply it to upholstered chairs and your walls.

Have fun with your interior spaces, show your personality and make them memorable.
